1. Name yourself up top — it's what shows on the public leaderboard.
2. Cast and wait. The bobber sits still until something takes an interest.
3. When it dips and the water splashes, hit hook! — you've only got a moment.
4. Now the fight. Hold to lift your net up the water column, let go to let it sink — it carries momentum, so don't overshoot. Keep the fish inside it to fill the catch gauge.
5. Holding also strains the line: hold non-stop and it snaps. Pulse it. The fish tires as the fight gauge drains, so hang on — and every species fights differently.
6. Land 10 to unlock The Reef, and 30 for The Abyss, where the real monsters live. Some things only bite after dark.
